In order to make your event the best possible the things that need to be considered are 1) How many people are in your party? 2) Do you want to get married at the hotel? 3) Are you willing to pay a surcharge to the hotel for the ceremony? (some hotels with more picturesque locations charge extra for the wedding facility). 4) What is your budget?

Question - Where do we have the reception?
Answer - Again, There are several options in Santorini. Many couples choose to have the whole reception to the weddingg site or just have appetizers and drinks at the wedding site, and then move to a fine restaurant for the wedding dinner. One of the finest restaurants in Santorini, is Kastro (kastle)  restaurant.

Question - Donkeys, did you say donkeys?
Answer - Yes, in the Greek tradition, the bride and groom ride on beautifully decorated donkeys through the town, after the wedding ceremony. This is often a highlight as people from along the pathway follow,  to wish the newlywed couple a happy new life. Often there are hundreds of people along the way. It is quite fun and exciting.
