Many centuries ago, a volcanic eruption, followed by a devastating earthquake, sculptured the sharp cliffs and created the unique phenomenon of the Caldera in Santorini. On this sunlight island of Santorini, one of the most beautiful islands (with the largest Caldera) in the world, in the picturesque village of Firostefani, is located HOTEL IRA. Situated in a quiet and tranquil position, in close vicinity to the volcano and sited on the very edge of the Caldera, the hotel offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the volcanic isles, the endless horizon and the vast blue sea.
We have built, renovated and upgraded, with all respect to the local architecture, a complex of luxurious, traditionally styled standard double rooms, apartments and suites.
The hotel operates throughout the year.

All about hotel accommodation
The hotel is built on different levels, following the cliff’s downward incline. In a perfect blend of luxury, comfort and tradition, each room or apartment is elegantly decorated with local antique furniture and handicrafts, in accordance with the features of the island, combining a traditional environment with all the amenities of a modern accommodation complex.
Each unit has its private balcony overlooking the volcano and the Aegean Sea, and is able to accommodate from 2 up to 4 persons.
